Surfing with kite, or wavesurfing with a kite is a quite popular part of kitesurfing. It is like the usual oldschool wavesurfing, but you use the kite for getting out instead of paddling. Wavesurfing with kite works best in sideshore or side-off winds, so that your kite does not pull you faster than the wave. The goal is to surf the wave in the same way as the common surfers do, and just keep the kite in the air and let the wave give you all the speed. Then when the wave dies, you just use the kite’s power for getting to the next wave. It’s like a lazier way of surfing..
