BEST kiteboarding

The year 2015 has been very turbulent in pro kiteboarding, where the PKRA tour got a new owner and name, VKWC, and a lot of events were canceled. Not to mention the seemingly never-ending fight between VKWC and IKA about the rights to crone a freestyle world champion.

There are some quite big changes in Best kiteboarding pro team this year when 3 of the worlds most known riders are leaving the team.

Billionaire Richard Branson from Virgin buys the pro kite tour PKRA. Richard Branson is an old kiteboarder that have reached the news many times, while setting guiness world records, kitesurfing over the English channel, or kitesurfed with girls on his back. One of the biggest news for 2013 season is that Youri Zoon joins best kiteboarding. Youri Zoon is the world champion 2012, and will probably be a good help for putting Best back on the kitesurf-map.
